A:  WorkPaceUSA places an employee with physical restrictions due to work-related injury or illness in a volunteer position that is consistent with their doctor's restrictions. It is a temporary, off-site assignment designed to help speed recovery, both physical and psychosocial. The employee's status is that of an active employee. The only difference is that the employee is working at a temporary location
