WorkPaceUSA, developed by the Volunteer Center of North Texas, provides alternatives to employers that lack modified duty opportunities for workers with restrictions due to job-related injuries.

WorkPaceUSA places injured employees within nonprofit organizations that address a wide variety of community needs. 


Types of nonprofit agencies in the program include
  • Hospitals
  • Shelters
  • Recreation Centers
  • Schools
  • Social service agencies
  • Nursing homes

 



Types of volunteer assignments include:
  • Answering telephones
  • Taking inventory and stocking shelves
  • Entering Data
  • Filing
  • Greeting guests
