For more than 30 years, one agency has supplied countless volunteers and many millions of dollars in material goods to nonprofit agencies in our community. That agency is the Volunteer Center of North Texas. Its defined mission is "to strengthen the community and its nonprofit sector by promoting volunteerism, mobilizing people and leveraging resources." 

Today, the Volunteer Center consistently serves as a model for other Centers throughout the country.  

Last year, the Center made more than 100,000 volunteer referrals and placed more than $8 million in goods with nonprofit agencies.  As the hub of volunteerism in North Texas, the Volunteer Center plays a critical role in the community. Its programs and services are essential to making the community strong, safe and vibrant. Nonprofit organizations, serving every sector and every population, count on the Center to provide volunteers and material goods to deliver vital services to their clients.
